Sports GT
This is what most clubs call their 'Flagship' class. We currently run these as an 'anything goes' championship and
proves very popular with the younger members of the club.
They are fast and fun and alot of skill is needed to race these with success. During 2013 we are allowing NSR manufactured and the Scaleauto GT1 to take part. These we seen as being too fast (must have to win) but due to the members vote, are now allowed.

Nascar USA
This class at ASR is one of our closest run nights on our calender.
Known as 'Jim Wright's Favourite class'. Although these were standard, with the exception of 'Ninco' tyres allowed on 'SCX' cars, we are now allowing 'Mabuci' motors to be fitted to the SCX cars too!

and again standard. Motor rpm 18k only (small can). This class was brought in at the begining of 2014 and has been the fun class with everyone
enjoying themselves! ATM the bigger Countryman is allowed but for the start of the 2015 season only the smaller saloon cooper is allowed and must be run with clear glass and interior.

Classic F1
This class is very popular in the Anglia region. Although we don't run these on a regular basis as a club class,
we always run them in December as a special meeting.
This class is held close to the heart of our members as these are the cars we had as children ourselves. The car in
the picture (Shadow) belongs to Jim Kelly and deserves it's place on this website!
Modifications allowed are slot-it running gear and steadying of the front axle. The motors must remain original i.e
Johnson and although run a little hot to touch, seem to last forever!!

Rally....SCX only
This is our latest class which will be introduced as a competitive series during the second half of 2011.
2wd and 4wd cars run side by side. Probably the closest formula we have. Wheels can be changed to Slot-it plastic only and you can run any FRONT tyre but REARS must remain SCX only!
